Keith C
How much more will the engine weigh than the 2JZ? Do you know what it will do to the weight distribution?
sdavies
That engine should be in an art gallery... beautiful bit of engineering How about moving this to NWS as That is pure unadulterated automotive PORN! :d;) I want one!! (My bank manager just woke up in a cold sweat knowing that something bad has just occured).
paul mac
How much more will the engine weigh than the 2JZ? Do you know what it will do to the weight distribution? i think the engine is lighter than the 2JZ-GTE due to all aluminium construction as opposed to the ancient cast iron lump that we have (waits to be flamed:D )
RobSheffield
i think the engine is lighter than the 2JZ-GTE due to all aluminium construction as opposed to the ancient cast iron lump that we have (waits to be flamed:D ) Except this is a 2UZ and hence also iron
paul mac
Except this is a 2UZ and hence also iron thanks Rob couldn't remember which was which (knew i'de get flamed:D)
RobSheffield
thanks Rob couldn't remember which was which (knew i'de get flamed:D) Not even a mild warming from me! Im just an average member shooting the breeze
cowboy bebop
It's an iron block, alright. We can figure about 5 stone (75 lbs) heavier than a 2jz. The good news is that the weight is situated further back in the engine bay, so the car will be more balanced. Eric
JohnA
It belongs in an art museum. Very nice.
cowboy bebop
The polishing was a VERY tough part of it. There was a lot of time spent polishing the small corners and the deep areas. But I think it turned out great My main goal was to have a true show motor and I think we're very close. Eric

cowboy bebop
Is that a Veilside 350 kit going on the supe? Not a Veilside This kit seems like it was made for the MKIV Supra, at least this Supra because the wheel stick out 150mm on both sides. cowboy bebop
Thanks guys, the toughest parts I find is to produce this as a kit, and not a one off build just for myself. There's a lot of time invested in making sure the kit installs easily and is complete as possible. It's getting there Eric
