Chiefgroover
sorry to hear, thats pretty awful. Pity there wasnt a security camera close by that you could have checked the vehicles of that time on.

Suprash
Mate looking at the last photo posted that embankment looks almost cliff like at the right hand end. If that bank was soft its very feasible the nose of such a pointy and low car could stick into it. It would only take it to bite slightly and the cars inertia would do the rest. With the front effectively stopped the back would keep gong the only direction it could, straight over the top smashing the roof straight onto the top of the embankment. Its one of the reasons offroaders are flat at the front. Although heres an endo for you in here..... http://www.metacafe.com/watch/279883/crazy_crash_compilation/
dangerous brain
holy crap. Theres some nasty crashes in there. The guy wasn't going that fast in that end-on either. Its amazing how the cars explode despite having specially re-inforced fuel tanks.
cookci
same happened to my GF. However she actually hit a post just like that. Funny thing was all that happened is she got 2 blown tyres, a cracked number plate and a couple of minor scuffs lol
dangerous brain
It all depends on what bends first. If the post does then that takes all the kinetic energy away, if its the car then get your wallet out.
