swandip
Just bought some new RSR springs to lower the car by 35mm front and 25mm rear. How many hours should it take for labour on fitting these. Cheers:rolleyes:

JustGav
Yeah about 2 hours to do it... not that difficult a job really, might need a second person to help push the hubs down..
swandip
Bastards at the local garage told me 6 hours total, thanks guys I'll go back and tell them for a more realistic rate!!
dangerous brain
Depends on if everything comes undone first time. You have to be aware that some stuff doesnt go according to plan. Garages like main dealers take this into account by quoting an average time for the job and sticking to it but overcharge per hour. Other garages that charge a lower rate cover themselves by quoting more hours in case it takes longer and hands you a smaller bill if it doesn't. swandip
Just had new shocks and top mounts fitted a few months ago so all the parts should come off as if new.
