Barry
Nothing to do with the alarm. My j-spec AUTO also beeps in reverse. Just find the offending relay and remove it I guess.

Branners
A search found this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=484&highlight=reverse with this answer If you remove the dash in the normal way and then completely remove the speed/rev/fuel/temp dash arrangement you'll find a little grey plug-in adapter on the back of the circuit board. Just take it off and thats it. All it does is take power from the back of the rev counter. So there you are, search saved the day again. JB Typical isn't it!! That removal technique does work a treat and its exeptionally easy to replace if you ever get the urge.

dangerous brain
I like the beepy noise its a great optional extra. If you think the beepy noise is annoying the 4x4 we had in egypt played a jingly jangly version of bright eyes when it was in reverse--really loudly. Aerotop Dave
Maggie hates my reverse beeper. So naturally this means I'll have to keep it

AndrewOW
I don't mind the beeping TBH, as long as no one on the outside can hear it Us auto owners need all the help we can get
