Jake
According to TomTom 2.43 hours 165 miles from city centre to city centre. It reckons the fastest route is a23 > m23 > m25 > m4 > m32
Kev.O
If you're going to Martin's at thornbury then you can get off at junction 16 on the M5, the one after the M4/M5 interchange
RedM
According to TomTom 2.43 hours 165 miles from city centre to city centre. It reckons the fastest route is a23 > m23 > m25 > m4 > m32 It's not actually Brighton. Worthing to be exact so some way from M23 (I think). Sorry! RedM
Not going now! Been 'roped into' the birthday preparations. Always nice to be asked.
SupraAyf
try this, 2 hours 35 mins Just round the corner then. The price will be a wee bit hefty in a couple of years from now when this new transport pricing system is introduced. The special discounted £399 service will then turn in to a £500 job Martin may have to relocate to somewhere more central!
Kranz
I've done it in 2 hours 15.... in a knackered old VW when I used to work in Shoreham & live in Thornbury. And that was setting off at 1600 on a Friday and when there was no Newbury bypass! Best route is the one Jon put up. Once you're past Chi the road opens up & its a good run
