Wazz72
At the moment I have a bleed valve fitted, but I am Just getting round to fitting a greddy e-01 on Saturday. The problem is the instructions are in Japanese. Can somebody give me an Idea where the sensor and the solenoid go. I assume the solenoid replaces the bleed valve, and the sensor seems to go where my boost gauge is. Is it ok to leave the gauge in as well? Thanks
hodge
Hi The sensor goes onto the map sensor pipe and the solnoid goes between the acturator and the compressor housing.. Ive got an E01 its a great bit of kit. Gert yourself an external harness and it can tell you all sorts of info and can also be used as a FCD. If you get stuck givve me a shout and ill point you in the right direction.

Wazz72
So does the sensor tee off the same line as the boost gauge, and the solenoid replace the manual bleed valve then?
hodge
You have 2 pipes coming from your boost control solnoid 1 will go to your acturator and the other to the compressor housing. Take note of the flow direction on the solnoid. I would check it out for you but my car is at Envy at the monent its got the FLU.
Wazz72
Just want to make sure before I start hacking up my car. taken some pics of where the bleed valve is and the boost gauge line, just to make sure.
hodge
If the bleed valve works then you cant go wrong really with the solnoid instalation really. Just replace the bleed valve with the solnoid pipes supplied and mount the solnoid away from any heat that may effect it.As for the turbo pressure sensor ive got mine plummed into the map sensor pipe but as far as I know any vac pipe would do it, unless someone could correct me on that one.
