Is that the one where the bloke died? didn't Edmunds leave tele for a while becuase of this... like until 'Deal or no Deal'....

 

Thanks for dredging that up Pete... he may disappear again if we circulate this enough... with his f*cking jumpers and his smug face...

the one where the bloke died was where he was in a box strung up by a crain and the the chain holding it broke and he fell....not nice (but i stand to be correct on the exact details, it was on the Late Late Show?)

 

he'd stopped appearing on tele after the ratings when through the floor after Noel House Party.

Yeah the one where the guy died was The Late, Late Breakfast Show which also where this car jump clip came from.

According to wiki "stunt driver Richard Smith fractured his pelvis and injured his head, neck and back after crashing at 140mph"

The death of Michael Lush

On November 13, 1986, self-employed hod carrier Michael Lush was killed during his first rehearsal for another live stunt. The stunt, called "Hang 'em High", involved bungee jumping from an exploding box suspended from a 120ft-high crane. The carabiner clip attaching his bungee rope to the crane sprang loose from its eyebolt during the jump. He died instantly of multiple injuries, and the Breakfast Show was scrapped on 15 November after Edmonds resigned.
