Ewen
Hello and welcome O big bird superbly adapted to an aquatic life with wings that have become flippers, useless for flight in the air although astonishingly agile in water, your plumage preserving a layer of air, ensuring buoyancy and also helps insulate you in cold waters, using your tail and wings to maintain balance for your upright stance, countershaded - that is, you have a white underside and a dark (mostly black) upperside used for camouflage as a predator looking up from below (such as an orca or a leopard seal) has difficulty distinguishing between your white penguin belly and the reflective water surface whilst the dark plumage on your back camouflages you from above type one:)
