Spare wheel-fitment and legality questions.

Does the spare wheel of a JDM Supra fit over UK brakes?

If it doesn't and I decide not to carry it am I breaking any laws?

Do you have to have one at MOT time?

What is the best product for getting a tyre fixed (enough to get home) when you don't have a spare.

Is it better in (as an aid to traction:blink:) or out as a weight saving attempt?

I've got UK brakes on mine, and I had the car on 4 space savers when I was working on it, so the answer would be a nice big yes.

And no you don't need a spare, my company car doesn't even come with one, just a can of tyre weld.

Apparently it is not an MOT failure to not have a spare, however it is a failure if you have a spare and it is flat.

there are some compressors that plugs into your lighter plug and you can blow the tyres, I had one when I jhad my MR2 as I didnt have a spare tyre then, by the way a spare tyre is not needed for MOT.

That's correct - you don't need a spare wheel for the MOT, but if you have one it has to be road legal.
