Guest TwisT Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 Hi, has anyone fitted XS Power items i am after opinions on [1] the intercooler [2] the stainless single turbo manifold [3] T70 turbo [ or other big turbo ] It has been said the intercooler varys from increasing inlet temp [crap basicly] to 'good value for money' weather or not that means its good i dont know. The stainless manifolds are supposed to crack, and i have been told by uk tuners that the turbo is likely to 'melt' as they are so cheap. What i am after, is opinions of people who have actually bought these items and fitted them. people with no vested interest in giving me duff info [not tuners trying to sell you expensive parts - for example]. As many replys as possible please!, good tales [if there are any?!] and bad tales of experience?. How long have the parts been on your car? Xs power seem to have a fairly good ebay rep at 99%. I have heard there aftermarket support is dismal. The only reason im looking at buying from them is they are so much cheaper than the rest. The first item im looking at getting is the intercooler, but wonder if the welds are neat, the inside doesnt have any burrs or bits that are likely to fly into the engine, and its a good solid construction. and lastly, it fits without modification [cutting fan shroud etc] but is it a case you get what you pay for! ?
