Replacing boot seal rubber.

I am going to replace my split and tatty boot rubber with one that is in good nick.

 

Firstly, do I need any srecial tools to remove the old one and fit the new one?

 

Second, does the new one need to be glued in place?

 

Lastly, what can I use to rejuvenate the rubber so that it is in tip-top condition?

I've had my rubber off a couple of time and it easy to put back/take off without any tools every time I wash the car i use the Autoglym rubber cleaner/restorer.
