Dave Haggas
1980 TRIUMPH TR7 V8 CONVERTIBLE. Rover solar red bodywork, black leather interior. 3.5 ltr rover v8,Holley 390 carb,4-2-1 exhaust manifolds,s/s twin exit exhaust system. All TR 8 spec conversion using original parts/rimmer bros parts. Uprated brakes, uprated suspension(koni adjustable shocks,200lb lowered springs and poly bushes all round). 5 speed manual with shortened lever,3.08:1 back axle ratio. Uprated core radiator with adjustable kenlowe electric fan. Power steering, electric windows, tailored to my spec mohair hood. Fully carpeted boot. Genuine front rally spoiler(colourcoded)and small original boot spoiler. It currently has 16"x7"MGF 6 spoke alloys with goodyear f1 tyres. I have the genuine alloys with falken tyres. All above tyres have good tread and wheels are in a1 condition. The car has a full tonneau cover and a 1/2 tonneau,it also has a nose bra and a tailored indoor car cover. I have owned this car since 2002.But I bought it from a friend and have known the car since 1989.This is the 4th TR 8 that I have owned. The car has always been garaged and will be sold with a new mot. My cars are always kept up to date and everything works. Work commitments have seen the TR sat in the garage as time is just not there to justify having it unfortunatly!I have not started a full sale yet, just seeing if there is anyone here who may be interested? When my computer literate wife is home,I will try to get some pics up.Not being biased this is a lovely example of a car and is such good fun to drive.Sounds the same as a TVR but is reliable!Insurance is classic as well.£220.00. £5,500 ono.
