Gazboy
Nice! I had the matrix go on my GT-Four. I'm sure at some stage in the build process of these cars there's just a heater matrix trundling down a conveyor belt and then a car get's built around it. lockys96
did the gearbox have to come out though?
Sheefa
Is the heater matrix under the passenger footwell? I'm thinking if this needs doing i'll DIY it and take a metal grinder to the floor and have that sucker out. Bit of quick welding, a new set of floor mats to cover up the shocking gaps and hey presto, time to sell the car! Only joking.........or am I? ivan
In the words of one particular toyota specialist (I forget who right now): "It's a bitch of a job. I usually quote customers £1000 in the hope they won't bother."
Thorin
Is it new audi's where you can just open the glovebox and slide the heater matrix out? I forget. Much easier!

I found that in my experience, the better the heating in the car, the crappier the car was!!
