JamieP
Just been reading up on the AEM forum and a thread got me thinking will i need a resistor pack with Hks 1000cc injectors? regards jamie:)

Lucifer
Resistor pack LOL IF you want your AEM to run at a crappy resolution you would. Personally i'd ask your tuner ............. ok ok ok ok Ill tell you - Go buy the AEM injector driver.

Nic
Yes they are low impedance, so as Terry said, you'll need a resistor pack. This is the part number for the resistor pack used on the UK Spec Supra: 28510-46020 Resistor Pack
Ian C
Isn't the AEM injector driver, mmm, a resistor pack? -Ian
TLicense
I asked this very question a week or two ago on the AEM forum. What would happen if someone was to run a low impedance injector with the AEM with no resistor pack? Here's the reply:- Typically what happens when you run low impedance injectors without the resistor pack is that the injector drivers inside the ECU will turn themselves off when they get too hot from excessive current - over 1.5 amps continuous in most cases. As far as how the engine runs, it will act like a boost cut when the injectors pull too much current causing the drivers to turn off. Increasing injector open times mean more current draw and that's why it acts kinda like a boost cut. The injector drivers inside the EMS can possibly be damaged but most of the time they are OK once they cool off and are run with a resistor pack or high impedance injectors.
