johnd-mkiv
Still sounds a lot. Have you got a dyno printout we can see please? I would agree on this, from the spec given would have thought a few more mods would be needed, do you know what boost its running?

RedM
I've gotta say I've always wondered about the LWB/SWB thing. When I worked for Nissan I had no real interest in their cars save for the odd Skyline that vanished into the warehouse (yes, really) and the 300ZX that one of the directors owned. I don't think I saw another 300ZX until a few months back and it looked way longer than I remembered. Now I know.
blitz supra
Do like the 300ZX as they can look great, But don't you find the dash and instruments are a total mess... WTF is all those nasty looking switches around the Steering wheel all about Shame as the really spoil what is otherwise quite a great car. better so in the SWB
CJ
I saw this for sale recently - I have never seen a full convertable before.

They used to command huge money a few years back, They just seemed to die a sudden death... god knows why as you can get decent BHP out of them, TT's pass hands as little as £3k these days, which is a shame, They go under the Fairlady name too.. but 300ZX TT Sounds better .. CJ
Now I think that a "sunny roof" sports car should have a top like that - not the silly gap that the Supra has.

blitz supra
Now I think that a "sunny roof" sports car should have a top like that - not the silly gap that the Supra has. Found a little info on it,....... Although never knew this existed so must be mega rare !! 1993 Nissan 300ZX: For the first time, the Z-car lineup included a factory-built convertible, introduced as an early 1993 model. Fitted with leather upholstery, the convertible had a manually folding top and a rear "hoop" over the interior, to increase structural rigidity and provide upper anchor points for the manual lap/shoulder belts. No other significant changes were evident.

blitz supra
Mmm...I wonder what that is worth to an enthusiast? Makes you think what someone would pay, ££££ ??? But i saw a RX7 convertable at JAE 2 yrs ago , Real peach of a car and it had really silly low miles (17k or something like that) , he had it up for something silly like 3k, yet the car was like new I'll ask my mate out of interest if he has ever come across one of these convertables,as he used to import and sell loads of 300zxs up until about 18 - poss 2 yrs ago and then people just stopped buying them for some reason almost overnight, he got stuck with a couple for ages. same story with the 350Z he bought a couple over with only 1000 mls on them yet he got stuck with them for 5 mths.. Strangley the RX8 he bought over with 900 miles on sold within 1 hr of being on the website..
