hogmaw
Are there any tints you can get where it's clear and ok to see out, but hard to look in? I'm thinking of getting them done but all I can find are tint jobs where it makes it dark to look out as well as in. Surely there is way round this? Rayman
afaik there is nothing like this, light smoke tint is probably the only tint you may get away with as you can see in just!
DamanC
Its illegal to put anything but safty tint (100% clear) foward of the B pillar on anycar. You can have anything you like on the rears.
DamanC
Forgot to add, if you have a dark interior then they will look darker than they actually are.

lockys96
i started to peal my rear tint off, but the heating element was going with it. so if i remove mine, i need a new window.

Guest mk47
yes, you can get fined and point for front windows. is this correct? mine are pretty dark and not had any trouble at all.
JamieP
Mirror tints are hard to see in but easy to see out of;)
hogmaw
I don't mean the 'front' window lol, just the door windows and rear. Obviously you have to be able to see for reversing, and that's hard enough without having a dark window to look thru, esp at night. Perhaps my dream of having windows you can see thru Ok from the inside, but not from the outside (like sunglasses) don't exist then
lockys96
why i have a camera mounted in the rear cluster, cant see anything out the back with the veilside wing and tint. id prefer to have none on the car
