carl0s
carl0s dude, I know you are - in the nicest way possible, attempting to dilute/diffuse a hopelessly unpleasant topic - but could you put your pics in another thread - not in a negative way - I am enjoying looking at them, just in future if I want to reference them (I am *that weird*) I would prefer not to have to look for (or at) this thread I am unusual - I do love other peoples holiday photos We thought we'd got away with this for quite a while

So are we all clear now, given up on the discussion (I think there were about 3 seperate subjects in the end!), no more questions! Nice pics BTW. Thorin
Nice pics Carlos. Beautiful place, would love to visit again. There seems to be a lot of bollocks talked about Venice, we never saw or heard of any trouble while we were there (was told bag snatches are rife), we were there for the hottest days of the year and no smell. We stayed in a hotel overlooking St Mark's square and I proposed to Angela in the middle of it. :DWas fantastic sat drinking in the square at night listening to the two mini orchestra's trying to out play each other all night
Matt H
http://www.youngmuslims.ca/publications/hijab.asp click the link and be enlightened. now - can you please enlighten me as to why it bothers YOU that muslim women cover up? if you feel you need to be enlightened on other subjects - feel free to drop me a pm Lol, i read a little of that. o.k, so why didnt "god" just create woman completely black with no facial features then? instead of asking them to cover up? its man made nonsense. Religion: Started through lack of understanding and intelligence. Continued and redeveloped over time for control and power exists still for hope, power and control. it does my head in because its stupid and regardless of what you say, its only done for control of women, and regardles of what these women believe, its wrong. why would you want to praise a god so petty and trivial that he wants women to cover up head to toe, the religion and any religion is full of "crap" and it does my head in that people follow blindly, its not there fault mind, they have been brainwashed from an early age, we are only a product of our environment. But it does my tree in, and people let it continue. I think the bulls*it that sleeps with the ritual such as that women teacher not removing her head gear to teach and claiming that she is wrongly done by for requesting it fuels the matter. if every woman wore that gear all the time how the hell would anyone know who anyone was, its ludicrous
CJ
For someone who has such a disregard for any form of deity, you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with "Superman".
stupra
I've read this hole thread, an some things I agree with, and some I don't. All i'll say is that I believe in the saying "when in Rome, do as the Romans". Many people who come to this country choose to fit in as best they can, but there are other's who want to live by their own rules, an not try to fit in at all. These people, regardless of nationality, religion or colour, are the one's who cause problems. I agree with the Aussie policy when it was said that "its not the country that has to adapt to your way of life (the immigrants), its you that has to adapt to our way of life, we have our culture, our laws, and our religion, if you don't want to fit in, don't come here, if you don't like it when your here, then leave. Simple...Freewill not to wear it and to not follow Islam and thus show commitment or lack of to follow Islam or not. Matt H
For someone who has such a disregard for any form of deity, you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with "Superman". yeah, but supermans morals are worth living by, even if a lowly human being such as myself couldnt quite grasp them. Anyway, gona leave this thread alone now, i dont think its helping anyone. And i dont thikn im quite explaining my views properly... anyway.. Cheers imi! Konrad
Lol, I too give up. Q. What makes Superman different from all the other Super hero's? He is only one to wear red pants over rest of costume? And seems he is 10 in 1 - like old Nintendo cartridges with games

Great post mate, the Aussie's have got it right as you said, we should have adopted the same policy years back, it's not racist in any way and would have stopped this country going into decline like it has been and will continue to do so . Clarkey
- What really annoys me is the Brit government allowed someone like Abu Hamza preaching racial hatred ... all time he's claiming benefit!! What the hell is that about ? At it usually is, the minority spoil it for the majority.
