am keeping the supra as daddys toy but am looking to get a better family car.the avensis estate is bomb proof cheap to run smooth and is a great all rounder BUT it has no steet cred at all

so am considering a fully modded saab aero 9000 r plate £4000 spent in last year abbott suspension and bpu upgrades 100k miles 265 bhp at wheels.300ib+ torque

i have had 3 modded aeros love em, fragile gearboxes but fine cars.

this one is on piston heads but dont know how to link(must bother to learn)

but are they still cool?

For the money, this sounds good to me Sir, but Martins Aristo is also a good option and you know it's coming from good stock!!

Get yourself a Passat they are bloody great to drive. we have 4 of them.. thinking of starting a passat owners club :D

I'll join you!!! Not actually got one yet but my father-in-law is giving me his (2L '02, 90k) which I'll probably keep for a few months then I'll be looking to trade in for a GS300:d

The GS300 ticks almost all the boxes for me - 4 door, rear wheel drive, jap engine with potential to be played with, lots of gadgets, leather, good looks, 'cheap' (i.e. around £4-5k)

BTW Martin, how much is your Aristo up for?? (unlikely to be within my current budget but fun to ask anyway) :)
