RobSheffield
any progress? I was sneakily avoiding an update until i had some decent pics Fuel rail and injectors are fitted, fuel lines nearly made up (awaiting some parts i ordered 4 weeks ago now ) exhaust system is now completed (AFR bung welded onto midpipe) just need a few gaskets/water pipes and im done
RobSheffield
Whats this, an update?! In the past few months (god time flies!) i have been busily buying bits and bobs and checking that all im doing is correct. What most people dont understand is that its bloody easy to chuck a turbo and manifold on, but to do it with no experience, and to attempt to do it in such a way that it looks spot on, and it works perfectly with no hitches all takes a LOT of time. This is what i have so far achieved. Injectors, rail and exhaust is fitted, vast majority of the fuel system is made up now that fuel fittings finally arrived (only 9 weeks waiting). Turbo side all ready to go, just awaiting time when im not at work or under 6 inches of rain At this precise moment i have what feels like months of work to do still... Refit interior including electric Recaros and custom dash. Fit fuel system incl walbro and the rest of the hosing, the hanger modifications and the filter. Fit turbo side and exhaust, oil feed and drain lines, intake and fmic piping. Removed the front bumper pending repaint of the front bumper ducting the FMIC, polish the FMIC and refit Fit all the wiring, hosing and piping Refit all the trim Some piccies for you to look at Injectors and rail in. Fuel fittings being made up Down Pipe wrapped, AFR bung and o2 sensor bung blocked off and sealed. (using AEM AFR guage fitted into Mid pipe Exhaust fitted to car

RedM
Hurry up, Rob. There's talk of petrol cars being banned by 2040. Let's hope it's a dry winter so you can get out in it for a bit rather than taking it off the road until next year.
Bob
Or stick it in a container and send it over here for the winter - I'm such a nice guy I'll even test it round the GP track for ya!
