It seems the force is strong in you DB as thats exactly what i was thinking was wrong with the fridge/freezer and i had to do a specialist module at Curry's to know this.

Is it an integral part of the kitchen? if so, and this may seem stupid but, make sure you have circulation holes top and bottom of the woodwork it allows the cool air to cool the motor and bits and the warm air to escape thus allowing the fridge to perform better - just a thought.

Seriously though - a complete defrost of the whole system might help.

Did you ever transport it layed down? If you did and didn't leave it upright for over 48 hours after you may have damaged it.

I think I'm fairly capable of working out how to use the fridge. ;)

 

Pete, it's only ever been in this flat so no.

 

I think maybe I'll try and do a defrost and go from there, is there a certain amount of time you have to leave it after defrosting before turning it back on?
