dangerous brain Posted November 26, 2006 Share Posted November 26, 2006 If its one of them there frost free fridge freezers that blows that there cold air everywhere to cool the fridge it may actually be as simple as the cooling unit has succumbed to the environment and frozen up. Kip Posted November 26, 2006 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Is it an integral part of the kitchen? if so, and this may seem stupid but, make sure you have circulation holes top and bottom of the woodwork it allows the cool air to cool the motor and bits and the warm air to escape thus allowing the fridge to perform better - just a thought. I had enough trouble working out how to turn on the washing machine and dryer when the other half went away for a few days to the inlaws in Spain... I think maybe I'll try and do a defrost and go from there, is there a certain amount of time you have to leave it after defrosting before turning it back on?
