RobCowley
My N/A came over from japan with an SAFC fitted... any reason for this? Don't have a clue when it comes to air/fuel etc... Thought these things were for modified turbo engines? Cheers Rob
imi
maybe youve got a NA-T
Clarkey
Not normally. SAFC-2 fools the airflow sensor on the ECU .. so thus you can adjust the fueling at user-defined 8 RPM points. The 2 maps on the SAFC-2 are triggered by throttle %. As you say not much use on an NA unless it's had turbo conversion done.
RobCowley
unfortunatly not It did come with a turbo timer in the glove box though:blink:
RobCowley
Its the original SAFC, it couldnt cause any damage though could it?

Clarkey
Its the original SAFC, it couldnt cause any damage though could it? If all the points are set to 0 for every RPM point - then the SAFC-2 isn't doing anything.
