JamieP
Leave it for now ... you can always spray it later if you change your mind..... im thinking of spraying mine now.
garetheves
Id keep it carbon fiber mate, will be a nice contrast with the silver on the car. Looking good BTW.
jazz1
thats what my dad said spray it later but im thinking it would look so odd as im going to have my trial diffuser half black and my wheels are satin black center and with the bonnet being black that would make my car half silver half black when finshed:rolleyes:
lockys96
sell it
Rayman
Youd be silly to spray it imo, it will turn even more heads if you leav it carbon, its gonna turn heads either way but id leave it, you can always spray it in the future but never turn it back carbon! R3DG3CKO ROB
I have exactly the same dilema... It certainly turns more heads with the carbon. But lots of people who've seen mine (and know nothing about cars) say it just looks like i've been down the scrap yard and got a black bonnet... Hmmmnnn... jazz1
thats what i mean from far it looks odd and close up looks better but im thinking if im spending all this money to make it look good the last thing i want is people saying why on earth have i black odd bonnet on a silver car
Ewen
How about some graphics on the bonnet ?

Stonkin
wait until the car is finished mate and then decide, as said above, you can never have it carbon again once done!
Nic
Spray the rest of the car carbon fibre to match
rik
wait until the car is finished mate and then decide, as said above, you can never have it carbon again once done! You could. You can wet flat the paint down to the original gel coat, or whatever you call it. I've done it on carbon bike panels. Laborious but bossible. Jazz, if that was mine id mask a thin line around the cut outs and paint the rest silver. A bit similar to these Ducati seat units i used to paint, see here... http://www.casoli.co.uk/136/ducati-polished-full-exhaust-sytem.html That way, you get the best of both. Subtlety rules. silvershark44
Spray It!! I dont really like the carbon fibre look anymore because it has been done to death by the saxo corsa crew. Spray it, in the flesh it will still look slightly different anyway.
Oly
Just divert attention from the bonnet and drive with ur swingers out the window
Pabs
hmmm, i say leave it too. For now at least, and decide later. Out of interest... do you pay your own heating bills? I recon you don't, and thats why you left your house door open
