supRo
I need to trim the bottom of my stock front bumper so that more air can get to the FMIC through the vent on my front lip. I don't have a Dremel or similar tool. I don't mind the finish being crude, as the lip will cover it. It needs to be done with the bumper on the car. I'm thinking of using an angle grinder with a metal cutting disc. Will that be OK? Thanks, Ro
terribleturner
Bit cave man but it'll work, specially if your not bothered on the finish. Just check and double check and triple check before you start cutting.
supRo
Thanks Jamie. I'll try not to cut any pipework! I bought an angle grinder with 10 discs (4 different types), goggles, tools, protective gloves and carry case for £15! B&Q special
Ric
masking tape. put that along the cut and draw a line on the masking tape make it a few layers thick this will help on a tidyer finish to the cut.
