JamesG
I'm after a new set of alloys for my supra as my mechanic has informed me the centre bore is incorrect for the car. The weight is taken by just the wheel studs!!! These were on the car when I bought it, and i've never taken the wheels off the car myself to notice. I think I'll be staying with 17" alloys as I want it to handle properly Does anyone have OZ alloys on their supra? I'd be grateful for any pictures anyone has of supras with these on (it's the multi-spoke ones I like). The "OZ Superleggera Race Silver" alloys look really nice. Any ideas if UK brakes fit under these (if I upgrade to them in future) and how much they weigh compared with standard UK 17" alloys. Cheers, James. Darren
I used to have 18inch OZ super Ts on my Sup. I could text u a photo if you have a camera phone. Handled fine and cleared UK brakes...
Tannhauser
I have 18" OZ on mine. I think that they are F1 Evo. They were on the car when I had it and fit over AP racing brakes. I have a photo of the car before the body kit and respray which I will attempt to attach.

Tannhauser
The only recent photos I have of the wheels shows them in a terrible state. Actually, I cleaned them today and took some photos on a borrowed digital camera, but I don't have the USB cable to upload them. Here's the car with dirty wheels, though:
Tannhauser
Regarding wheel weights. Stock wheels(quote from Supraforums): a set of 93-97 polished rims were as follows: fronts: 24.75lbs rears: 26.55lbs the 98 polished rims are a bit lighter without the ridges in the centers fronts: 23.6lbs rears: 25.4lbs Here's a site which includes OZ wheel weights for comparison: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel22.shtml
JamesG
Thanks Tannhauser, they do look good. I guess 18" alloys have a much better chance of going over UK brakes than 17" ones. These are the ones I like (in 17" form). I wouldn't mind too much if they don't fit over UK brakes, as I probably won't upgrade them - the jap brakes are quite good with decent aftermarket pads. If I'm reading the right bit, it looks like the OZ superleggeras are significantly lighter than the standard supra alloys. 17x8 OZ are 16.5lbs! James.
