Best place to buy iTrips

As above really, i am aware of the legalities of these things and therefore i know you cant just walk into Dixons or Currys and buy one. Seen loads on the net but wondering if anyone has any experience with any companies or iTrips in particular. Im buying the missus a Nano for xmas and thought id get her one of these as well. She only has a factory fitted cd player in her car so that rules out the cassette adapter and hardwiring it into the stereo.

Any help??

You can buy itrip type things in Dixons.

I used to have a Griffin i-trip thing for my mkiv ipod. It was OK - but wouldn't fit the mk5 video one. So, I bought a Kensington one - it got rave reviews on the i-lounge site - they were saying it was the only one that compared with a cable connection.

I ordered it from Amazon - although it came from Germany so took a week or so.

I hadn't used it, because - I bought it just before getting the Supra and the Supra has a head unit with a front aux in connector. But, somebody at work asked a similar question to you so I tried it on the way home tonight - and I have to say it's bloody good. No inteference and very clear audio - impressive.

sorry to be stupid, but whats an Itrip?

It plugs into your ipod and is a mini radio transmitter. You can then receive this on a radio (if you tune it to the correct station) - and hence listen to all your mp3s through your car stereo.

Afraid not. I bought it for the Focus and the 911 - and I'm afraid I still have the 911. Although - the tyre compressor has knackered the cig. lighter socket so I really do need to fix that before I can use it.
