wkdtime
Ok for those who have been following this thread...http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=89890 The problem turned out to be the FCD (TRL), when disconnected the car idles fine, but when it is connected the car idles erratically. The connections are solid i have treble checked, i even used a different ground point. I have the FCD Blue and green wire connected to the relevant points on the ECU and the live and earth connected at the relevant points behind the stereo. I have two questions, Firstly, does the FCD earth and 12v have to be taken fromt he ECU loom or is it ok as above? Secondly, is the FCD faulty? When the FCD is connected the car boost fine to 1.2Bar so i know the FCD is partly doing its Job. Found an old thread with exactly my problem http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=19932&highlight=fcd
