Marty
If it was a v-tec one, off the top of my head, they are 167bhp, or 160, i canny remember, they go really well for a 1.
mini-e
There 150bhp. The JDM ones are ment to be 158bhp. Thats if was a vtec. 1.6 16v is 130bhp.
SilverSoop
Really??? My n/a still beat but it was pretty much even stevens for a little bit until the supe got in its element. What do the CRX's weigh??
Nic
I've owned a couple of CRX's, they are very lightweight and the 0-60 time is around 6 point something seconds. They are around 150hp, but the power to weight ratio can't be far off an NA Supra. They are fun cars to drive, low C of G so drive like a go kart. JamieP
Young lad that works for me was up there... he said some CRX wiped the floor with a silver supra:D
silvershark44
i had a crx del sol sir, pic below, it was ok, 158bhp with an exhaust, air filter, engine polished and ported, some other stuff like that. I think it was running around 170bhp max. There ok cars, but have no torque what so ever. So they loose it top end.

MrHanky
Old skool CRXs are cool. Dont like the pansy last shape I agree, I had a 1.6 16v for 3.5 years and it was a brilliant car to drive. Never really liked the Del Sols. Mark

Konrad
I'd bet you'd struggle on the twisties, one of the best handling FWD cars I've driven. Try Honda Prelude 2.3 4WS This one is crazy on twisties!
Lukeyboy2k
Try Honda Prelude 2.3 4WS This one is crazy on twisties! Any different to the 2.2i Vtec? I test drove one and almost bought it. Then I saw the error of my ways and decided I couldn't live with the looks of the car - 5 months later I picked up my supe.

First time i was turning slowly in this Prelude i felt like in bus with overhanging rear lol I had old coupe Prelude tho. http://www.konio.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/cacko.jpg
francis
I had a UK-spec Mk2 CRX VTEC. 156bhp standard, probably a little more without the cat and a new exhaust. Great car, fun to drive (and not bad on the m/way either, happy around 110 leptons) and I could nail it off the lights etc all the time as opposed to the Supra which I drive a lot more conservatively in. Just a shame they're getting old now and and have started to rust away...
silvershark44
yeah its hard to find a good one. I dont really like honda engines though. I prefer much bigger engines that are less revy
