Chris and Alana
Does anyone else suffer from the material on the dash where the long thin heater vent for the windscreen is shrinking and leaving the horrible nasty yellow form exposed? Coz its a little bit ugly to say the least. Does anyone know a cure?
Class One
It's a common problem, and the only cure is black marker pen to cover the horrible stuff up.
Chris and Alana
lol, I already tried that on the side facing me when you sit in the car and yes it hides it but I cant get the god dam pen on the site you can see from the outside (which is the worst side) its just one of those anoying things that people dont notice but you know its there
Kranz
Pull the plastic bit out and put it back in but not so far Covers the foam bit nicely.

DamanC
Halfords do dash repair kits, i have no idea if they are any good thou.
Kranz
Yep, two fingers in one end. Pull up & wiggle a bit and it pops out of the clips. Keep doing this down to the other end. While its out you may be able to push the foam down with something (being careful of the windscreen) or even use some black gaffa tape and tape it down??? Or use some black silicone sealant to fill in the gaps before refitting the vent? I just re-seated the air vent over it so it covered the mess.
