bloofire
Hi guys, despite the mixed opinions on the forum about this kit, i'm proud to say i've taken the plunge and am in the process of fitting the first Fortune '03 kit in the UK! My car is a '94 manual TT. It's running about 400bhp at 1.2 bar with hybrids, type R intercooler, cams, EVC 4, drager, decat, spf, erl water injection, blitz access ecu, racelogic traction control, tein HA's, Cusco strut braces etc. It's soon to have some bigger injectors and more boost and nitrous. The car is stripped and all panels are fitted including mirrors and door panels. Next step is making the front lights fit right, sorting the filler cap and then some serious arch cutting! I'm going for the Veilside Evolution V wheels - 19x9J on the front and 19x12J on the rear. I'm aiming it to be ready by JAE. If people are interested i'll try and post some pics of the progress. LeeT
get some pics up. i would have bought this kit but it was single turbo or mad bodykit so settled with subtle veilside
Gaz Walker
Hi John That car is gonna be rather tasty, cant wait. Gaz.
bloofire
Thanks guys, the car will hopefully be cover of maxpower and banzai. Will be launched at Max live at the NEC i hope. As to it costing a fortune ( i see what you've done there!) I actually run a tuning company (which I won't be plugging on here until I've sorted a trade membership!) so that helps with getting bits cheaper. But it's still the best part of £10k + time to fit. Incidently I hated this kit to start with but it has slowly grown on me. Especially once I saw the pics of the car in Japan and the two in the US. I'm still not feeling it completely but that's coz I still have my tiny Blitz Z1s on the car at the mo and the arches are looking a bit ridiculous! Re. the N20 and racelogic thing it shouldn't be a problem as I'm fitting a throttle butterfly switch and will only use it when flat out. I know there have been problems but i'm hopeful that we can get round it. There's alway the 'off' button for the long straight dry roads! Gaz - you have inside info on this project - shhh! Although if it's the car that I think it is, the last time I was in it, it was sideways round a roundabout and then suddenly facing the wrong way! Ben.. tbourner
http://www.importtuner.com/features/0403it_supra_09_z.jpg I have to say I don't like the removal of the Supra lights - they're gorgeous lights and make the car what it is (sort of). Looks too much like a different car to me, don't like it. http://www.importtuner.com/features/0403it_supra_02_z.jpg Just IMO opinion of course, probably not taken seriously either as I don't even own a supe...... ......yet. CJ
When I was trying to decide what to do with my P&J, I was seriously tempted by this kit but was put off by the rear end. Other than that, I think it looks the dogz!
bloofire
Like you guys say it's a personal choice thing. If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. All I know is that looking at the kit on the car in the flesh it looks awesome. I've just been taking some pics of the work so will post them in a bit.
