steb9780
Just put my head unit into the car. So I have this unit for sale if anyone's interested. It's a Kenwood DPX-6000MD. It's got both CD and MD players built in. It is still only picking up Japanese frequencies, so will need a band expander. I know the CD works but I don't use miniDisc so coudln't test that. But I'd imagine it works. This head unit keeps the aerial down when playing CD's etc. It only pops up when the tuner is turned on. I don't really know much more about the unit. It does say on the front 4x35w, digital signal processor and 11 band spectrum analyser. It also looks like it can control a disc changer. Has an output for RCA on the back as well. £Offers please as I don't know what these double DIN units go for. I also have an unused Toyota ISO lead, I'll chuck it in with the head unit or if someone else wants it they can have it for a fiver. It's a maystar branded one. If it's used with the Kenwood HU it will have to be hard wired as the Kenwood doesn't have an ISO connector on the end.

I think the bloke above has first dibs, but he's not got back to me. The leads are a different input into the headunit, but the wires that come off are all the same pretty much. They connectors you see there are just bullet connectors. So they may well fit the connectors from your cars loom if it is hard wired. The ISO connector connects to the toyota loom, but this head unit doesn't have an ISO connector on it, so that end of the lead would need to be cut and wired in. The RCA output is what is used for an amplifier sound source. I don't have any manuals for it either, but they might be available on the web.
