Kranz Posted November 20, 2006 Share Posted November 20, 2006 I cut the old rubber bits out then heated the screws up with a mini blowtorch, then sprayed them with WD40 while still hot and stuck mole grips on them to turn them. blitz supra Posted November 20, 2006 Share Posted November 20, 2006 Anyone got any advice on curing this noise - think its the rubbers Common problem even after new rubbers Especially if you have an aftermarket spoiler fitted , I do this all the time about every two months and it cures it. Spray any type of silicone spray onto the boot rubber and put a little grease on both top and bottom boot rubbers, 99% it cures it, Short term fix i know ..
