Anyone watch this, i think it has to be the best programme on tv perhaps only beaten by top gear, makes me wish i had a bike licence to ride a chopper, bollocks to jap bikes, the bikes they build are awesome and their workmanship incredible, if you have not seen it give it a go on discovery channel 18:00

The 'Liberty bike' and the 'I Robot bike' were my favorites, but some of the stuff looks unrideable for anything other than short distances with no bends. There was one with a large spike on the tank pointing toward the riders floppy bits...cant be good. Good fun though.

Some of their stuff is pretty nice but other stuff I dont know. Sometimes there isnt much custom stuff as they use a lot off normal parts starting from the frames to the frontend and other stuff. Other manufactors often make their own frames and all that stuff.

Also that must be a pretty disfunctional family and I just gets terrible with them bitching around all the time.

I followed the first series of American Chopper and it was great fun.

Now they're repeated the formula again and again, everyone there is performing for the camera and it feels stale and fake. Can't stand it anymore.

Technically they are pretty mediocre actually, I've worked in a bike shop and I find them very middle-of-the-road.

I have a mate that makes very similar to order in this country, on the sleepy Devon Dorset border - check the bikes out at Heritage Coast Choppers - they are awsome and VERY loud in every respect. 130bhp and just as much torque, they pull ones arms out and put a whopping smile on ones face when riding through towns...

Me too...

It looked very authentic at first, but now it's like a "made for TV" show, shame really...

What about UK "Pimp my ride" what are they on... must be the soft'est, white'st "gangsta" ever :rlol:

I have watched most of the American Chopper series, but to be honest I think a lot of their choppers are a bit gash. Some of them just look un-rideable and ghey...

Well i like it, and if it is a bit soap opera ish then it is still better than the other soap operas on tv, and after all top gear is a bit repetetive, star in a reasonably priced car for one is now a pain in the arse, plus the races across europe with predictable outcomes, but i still watch it. :)
