ChrisSZ
OK, unfortunately my replacement engine went pop after just 430 miles and I can't justify to the wife the merits of keeping the car any more:( Her Dad is giving me a 2002 VW Passat (free) so my current plan is to keep it for 6 months or so and then get a GS300 (Jap, RWD, reasonably quick, comfy etc.). This means that my Supra is about to be taken apart so that some of her can live on:d I have given another member first refusal on my blue control lights (heater, A/C, window switches etc), UK front brakes and possibly a couple of other parts. This leaves a fair few bits still for sale. If anyone's after anything specific please feel free to ask me. I will be working out exactly what I have that can go over the next few days so keep your eyes open in the 'For Sale' section. Bits icl all standard panels and engine accessories, lots of bling bits (intake system, fuse box covers, PS pot, brake reservoir cover and cap etc. etc.). All has to go :(
Pete
That's a real shame. Surely must be worth more as a project to someone?
DannyW
Man that's bad! what caused the second engine to die?? I am hoping that the seller will offer some sort of refund (full or partial) as a sign of good faith - who knows??

Matt Harwood
Seeing as you've got the pissit now, are you not better off saving a bit of money, sticking another lump in, and selling it as a complete car?
ChrisSZ
Cheers dude:( Somehow the oil pump went - again!!! I really have no idea what could have caused it though.
ChrisSZ
Seeing as you've got the pissit now, are you not better off saving a bit of money, sticking another lump in, and selling it as a complete car? Possibly, but TBH I would not feel confident in the car any more and my conscience wouldn't allow me to sell it if I didn't feel happy in it (if that makes sense??). Also, that would mean spending even more money I don't have before I could get some kind of a return.

Also if you have happened to of painted your dash panels grey, I'll have those. Cigarette lighter, yes please. Screw from rear number plate light cover, one off lol (dropped in bumper) If you have nice leather seats, might take all of that. Hmm what else u got ? decent sounding exhaust ? UK Brakes ? ChrisSZ
The insides of the car are staying pretty much as they are - someone has made me an offer for the shell. I do have a nice RS*R zorst - pics to follow. UK brakes, facelift rear lights and a pile of engine bay bling are already sold.
