Anyone know about windscreen washer pumps?

Tried a search without success - My windscreen washer pump doesn't seem to be working. I can't hear anything when I pull the stalk back and I put a litre or so of water in there but still nothing (the wipers go across fine though)

Is the thing really quiet and I wouldn't be able to hear it anyway? (in which case I'll start checking for blockages, etc)

Any fuses I need to check or do I need to get a new pump?

Where can I get a new pump?

Thanks peeps.

What you need to do is jack the car up, get the passenger side wheel off, take out the front inner wing liner, and look at the pump itself. Mine stopped working once due to a marginal connection on the pump (I'm beginning to think all the electrical connections on mine have been murdered by the stiff suspension :) ). You will need an assistant to fire the washer pump in order to see if it works, unless you've got arms like Mr Tickle.

Oh dear. Obviously I didn't read the question properly and just waded in with the technical stuff :)

The spoiler thing is un-obvious, that's totally forgivable. The wiper washer thing.... isn't :D How long have you had your soop 200?!
