Konrad
When I switched on radio first time i thought "Huhu, speakers playing kinda crap, when i will get into my house I HAVE to check them..." Cursed was hour I took off doors covers and rear covers. My hair raised, when I saw them http://www.konio.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/speaker.jpg After 4 hours of constant using of F word in every known combination I managed to take off old ones (who the f... found idea of gluing speakers to holds to be great??!!) and put fresh new Kenwood set (who the f.... found idea of installing speakers with damn 3 holes to be great??!!). Now I'm happy - well ... almost - in 3 weeks time I plan to find some nice amplifier and put some bass speaker into my babe - this time it will be fresh install PS. God, just found out i will have to take off dashboard to get to rear of headunit - time to expand F word usage
SteveR
Dashboard out is easy once you get the knack of it chap, find one of the couple of guides knocking around (from memory I think Heckler has done the best one) and don't stress it. Mike M
Disconnect the battery or the airbag warning light stays on afterwards. Just had to reset mine tonight. Doh.
Jim_1979
I've got some apline speakers in my doors... but don't know what's in the rears. To put it bluntly, they're all SHIT!! Can't handle even the slightest bit of bass. I'm gonna replace all the speakers as soon as!
Jake
What ain't this thread in the ICE section? Disconnect the battery or the airbag warning light stays on afterwards. Only if you turn the ignition on while the dash is unplugged.
