RedM
Sony. Useless bunch o' numptys. Ever since the last update for the VTXd800u Freeview box it won't hold the programme info for more than about two days. Getting fed up of doing hard resets. I know I'm not alone but it's still pissing me off especially as Sony don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it.

Ark
I got a Humax 9200 PVR (hard disc recorder / freeview)...it works perfectly, really pleased with it. Having said that, a colleague also has one and says he has to reboot all the time...but then he buggers around and uses non-standard remote controls and stuff...then he wonders why things don't work exactly as the manufacturers intended. Thorin
I got a Humax 9200 PVR (hard disc recorder / freeview)...it works perfectly, really pleased with it. Yeah I've been looking at those, looks a good bit of kit. Mine old freeview box at home keeps locking up every now and again requiring switching off and back on again before it will do anything. Really slow changing channels and bringing up menu's etc. too. Can you use the USB port on the Humax to transfer your recorded video onto the PC? What format is it in?
