Damn, I have been drooling over these lately If you get one you will have to put a sound clip up as I would be very interested to hear one. And will it fit the stock twins I got at the moment and also then single? Don't know why, but the manifold bit confuses me

Markie
Guys, anyone know if fitting a 3" to 4" adapter for a cat-back exhaust system to the de-cat downpipe will effect its fitting/mounting, as I assume it will make the system a few inches longer and just wondering if that would effect things.. Just asking, as looking to get a 4" system to replace the Greddy Ti system, but want to use it with current downpipe for the time being. Getting the 4" system for future proofing. michel lane
you relise you wont get any more powergains with a 3 inch system unless you go for big power -800hp upwards.... all it does it make ALOT of noise......The greddy TI system is more them ample for up to 700hp. just make sure your dp /mp are all 3inch thats were the bottle neck is usually. save your money and buy something else. Markie
Well, I have goto replace my system anyway because the backbox is buggered. I was thinking of replacing the whole lot anyway. Either way its a 100mm Amuse system or a 90mm 3 1/2" one. But I have never seen a 3 1/2" to 3" adapter for the exhaust system. Either one though is not going to be cheap. And I found the Greddy one very noisey on the motorway!
michel lane
You think the greddy is noisy..... wait to you get a 4 inch system , does not matter which one it is , they are are really noisy.... i had to sound proof my entire car , to make my boost logic acceptable in the cabin . Markie
Hmm, I was told the Amuse one is really quite quiet considering.. Maybe I will stick to a 3" one then... *ponder* don't see myself going over 700BHP ever... Think I should get another GReddy one then fellar? Really need it sorted now, as I have not driven the car for over a month! Want the best one but quiet if possible aswell for the motorway... And one that will not need changing for future upgrades.. Andyhannah
Michel is right ive been in his car and even with the soundproofing it makes your ears bleed.
Markie
So guys: Want the best one but quiet if possible aswell for the motorway... jevansio
IMHO my HKS Ti Racing is quite quiet on idle, very queit on mway if speed is constant, great sound on WOT, 4" pipework so future proof, I'll be seeing Michel in a week so he'll hear it and could confirm if it is quiet or I am deaf Jay
Kevin Huntley
Hi Markie, I had the same exhaust as Ro the Amuse 90mm system and it was very quiet at motorway speeds no drone, like you sometimes get with the stainless systems. It did however come to life when you put your foot down, sounded amazing infact. The exhasut itself was a work of art easily the best workmanship I have seen on any exhaust system and you could pick it up with 1 finger it was that light. The exhaust was supplied as a Cat back system and come with a pre-fitted 3" adapter to make it fit to the standard cat pipe or de-cat pipe. Hope that helps. Kevin. Markie
Yeah, I think I will go for the HKS one as just checked on Envys site and the 90mil R1000 system is £1535 which I dont want to pay for an exhaust.
Markie
Envy guys.. Is the R1 AMUSE system also availble to fit the Supra? It says its 80mm with 130mm tip and on the site it has got the Supra option. Just want to double check.
Kevin Huntley
Hi Markie, I will speak with Amuse and let you know what is available. I think the Envy website will now be out of date with the Amuse products as they were added 3 years ago and looking at the Amuse website it looks like they have changed the products slightly. Thanks Kevin
