Seperate throttles arn't really an advantage on a Turbocharged engine.

They are good on NAs because they do reduce throttle lag (for want of a better word). Making the throttle more responsive to inputs. However 6 butterfly's are possibly more restrictive than 1.

 

So it would be intresting to test on an NA...but I don't think it would be worth your effort on a TT. Forced induction doesn't need them.

can I ask a dumb ass question?? Where it has the independant throttal boddies in the first pic does that mean that it dosnt need an intake pipe etc?? Or you just put a filter over the rocker covers (i think thats the term)??

 

It is running without filter, ideally you'd want 6 small filters one on each throttle intake.
