Jake
You know that first thread is from last February, right? Anyway: You could try and race from a rolling start to take away his standing start advantage. PS Please, turn your CAP LOCK OFF

rik
They seem to have their facts mostly correct about the cars. It's their comments about the owners that is funny. Apparantly we're all hairy backed medalion wearers with socks shoved down our pants, lol. This was my fave quote about supras..."find out if it's tuned! If so, you will have your a$$ handed to you on a plate." A funny read.

mikeyb10supra
Raced one before from bog standard...even exhaust!! There was only one winner from rolling starts and standing starts a BPU supra would kill even a highly tuned one
mikeyb10supra
Jake plese join the forum...some of those comments were cracking me up "I agree with Neal. about 90% of TT Supras for sale are always Auto, which are easier to launch but more importantly, not as rapid!" PRAT
Pete
2> The SupraTT driver probably has a hairier back than you... ergo i want to factor in an extra .9 grams of weight onto the Supras already porky mass.
michael
It would have to be over a 1/4 mile otherwise the Fiat owner won't get chance to top his oil up.

RobSheffield
I don't, we have enough knobheads here already. Friend of mine had a Fiat Coupe....Lancia engine, broke down 234 times (per day), a few of them seriously
michael
I actually have a lot of respect for the 20v Turbo Coupe but I'm not silly enough to believe it's anything but a slightly quick hot-hatch-a-like. Of course it can be tweeked but then so can any car - it goes back to the old modded vs standard thing. I guess it's like us going on about raping the odd Ferrari here and there. Aren't the the 5 cyl 20v ones 220bhp as standard? 0-60 in the mid 6's? (16v is 190bhp I think?) I nearly bought a Coupé LE when I was going through my Fiat stage but got put off by the pathetic dealer network, reliability issues I'd had with previous cars and the fact that I'd just discovered Japanese imports which seemed far more exciting. Terminator
Obviously don't take one on in winter as the aircon may be turned off. The air con comment says it all. TBH we should be more concerned about the potential new MKIV owner. "we have enough knobheads here already"
TRD3000GT
I had one of these fiat jobs up behind me the other day giving it dump valve every 5 seconds.. I just let him roll by and he was laughing at me when he screamed passed like he had just wasted me !? I didnt take the bait for a change
Class One
TBH we should be more concerned about the potential new MKIV owner. "we have enough knobheads here already" It's far too late to be concerned. Far too late.
