SteveR
Obviously this thread has the potential to go totaly off track, especially if we start talking about 'meat' but here goes anyway... What less traditional stuff have you eaten? I tried Kangaroo burger on Sunday. It was alright, a bit... dense, TBH. Tasted similar to a slightly bland, slightly dry beefburger. I've drank some odd Nepalese religious festival inspired moonshine-of-doom crap too, served from an old Castrol oil container! lol It tasted a LOT stronger (and worse) than the higher proof Absynth you can get, and I was half cut 10 minutes later despite only having a few gulps (I had to gulp it to try and get through it rather than offend my host by giving some of it back). What have you lot eaten/drank? I want to try crocodile next

Jake
I've eaten; Kangaroo, octopus, squid, crocodile, snails, frogs legs, oysters, emu (or was it ostrich? I forget). raw pork, raw liver, dog food. Stale cornflakes and water (I was poor and starving at the time). I've drank; hot chocolate from a broken thermos flask strained through a handkerchief, pochine (that irish moonshine stuff), a can of 3-in-1 oil (don't ask), water from a police station toilet bowl. Beer from a can that had cigarette butts in it (I didn't know beforehand) I've seen someone drink a pint of somebody elses vomit.

garetheves
I once plucked a worm out from the ground at home and ate that, without washing it either. Have also, in my youth, had cat and dog food. Used to like Dog biscuits. Drinking: Many concoctions from the top shelf and on rugby tours we used to set each other challenges of drinking all sorts. We would start off with a glass of water on the dinner table and it would end up with salt, papper, butter, gravy, fruit juice and other things i care not to mention in it. Then there would be a wager on who would drink it. Those were the days.
