Wez
I was thinking of changing my daily driver next year and was looking at these and 530D M Sports.

Wez
I am really tempted by one but then for daily use I think an AUTO 530D might be a better choice.
merckx
My brother recently owned a manual 530D Sport. Fast at overtaking with loads of torque, he got it remapped to get a little more . Solid and very well built, no rattles and the ride was great. It doesn't compare to the Supra though in terms of looks and performance.
The Restorer
It's at the top of my most likely next car list. But only becasuse when I was younger I thought they were awesome and said I would have one in 2007.
csa
it's a nice car, but keep in mind that the M5 can be hugely expensive in service, clutches, part ect...the 530 is much more "resoneble"
Seb
Two words: extended warranty. Without one, kiss your bank balance goodbye. Even if you think you're getting a good car, you might not be. Case in point, someone I know has had something like £6-7k of warranty work done on a £25k car with 30k miles. That's not including servicing etc. Not sure how a £10-15k car with 80k+ miles would stack up! Still up there as one of the cars I'd most like to own though. Wez
I have to admit I am now leaning more towards the 530D Sport. I spoke to my mapper earlier and his is running 430ft/lbs torque after he remapped it, that should be enough to trailer the Supra about if needed
grahamc
Which year model is that? As I asked the same question about the 2001 - 2002 model... Looks awesome, goes well, servicing can get a bit pricey is the only issue.
Wez
Which year model is that? The 530D or the M5? Not sure what year my mappers 530D is but it he paid less than 10k for it.
