Door seals / Light switches

I replaced my drivers and passengers door seals, as mine were starting to perish. When I was removing the old ones they seemed to be glued in the corners where there was no rail for them to squash into. Since fitting the new ones my car has been condensating on the inside of the windows. Ive been told that i need to put silicone in the corners to bond the seals to the car and that should stop it condensating. Is that True?

Also since fitting the new seals my electric windows are not working (on either side). Could this be the fuse has blown, or have I flooded them with not sealing the inside of the car windows? Is the correct fuse no 13 in the inside fuse console, and if its blown what else will not be working? It is very annoying, as I had to go over the seven bridge yesterday and open my car door to pay.
