ChrisSZ
I'm thinking of plumbing in an electrical oil pressure gauge in my motor. Where would be the best place to stick the sender unit? I am considering tapping a thread into the head of the big bolt that holds the oil filter assembly onto the block - would this work?
Kranz
Is it a banjo bolt???? Pic??? You either need to tap into an oil gallery or find an external oil way/hose to tap into such as the turbo oil feed. Or you could put a T into the Toyota oil pressure sensor. Ric
or get a oil filter plate, easyest way imo
Dave F
I'd go with migs advice and get the Lexus oil assembly bolt unless you can tap into that spare one you have.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the tap into the spare bolt route - if I cock it up no real problem

Matt _Aero top_
I'm thinking of doing this mod too . So how much do these plates that you can buy cost and where do they fit ? near the oil filter . Have these got everything you need ready to plum the pressure gauge into ?
