Kev.O Posted January 26, 2007 Author Share Posted January 26, 2007 Right. The valves on the intake side of cylinder 6 are stuck down as are the outlet valves on cylinders 4,5 and 6. If it was a build up of carbon why would it only be on 5 valves? What can be done to prevent this from happening to other peoples engines? hodge Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 Ive got the head and when the valves were took out they are choked up with carbon and I mean really clogged. Im thinking something has caused my car to overfuel which has in turn carboned up the valves. I should finish the head early next week hopefully if i can get onto it at work when the boss aint looking. its gona be a race to see who gets theres back together first I suppose.
