merckx
My insurance renewal is due this week, is it possible to get expensive items such as wheels insured for an agreed value? Just fiited my new Volks recently, worth about £2500. I'm going to give Sky a ring tomorrow. Anyone know if this is possible and any ideas of cost, will other insurance companies do this too. Thanks
lockys96
not much. but you might want to change your agreed value for a tad more
DaveK
I've got non-original wheels on my 911 and many of the insurers ask the value when giving quotes. Whether that means they would actually pay for them if the car was nicked remains to be seen though.

No , I think they only ask to know how much more to charge you for your insurance But it worth asking before paying for it though
TrickTT
Ask sky for 'like-for-like' cover. you'll have to send them a full list of mods and photos of your car.
