jase_93tt
Im getting the O/D and slip control light continually flashing. Engine has no error codes, but I am getting error codes, 21,32, 89. Also the Manual button dosnt light up or work at all when pressed. Checked out the offside front speed sensor and nothing is amiss and continuity on the wire is fine. Nothing appears to be amiss near the ETCS on the throttle body either. Ive seen error 89 come up on this forum a couple of times, but cant seem to source a definitive answer as to what it could be. Any help much appreciated Jase
jase_93tt
Oh, I might add, when I press the O/D button on the gear lever, the O/D lights stays on does function properly.
mr lover
mine does exactly this after i had rltc fitted and pull fuse on standard tc edit, i have not checked for the error codes as i was told this would happen
Kranz
Mine did it after I didn't plug one of the electrical connectors on the throttle back on properly.
jase_93tt
hmm. The Throttle Body connections all look OK to me - unless they are incredibly sensitive or something, i cant see the problem being in that area. Havnt checked the ecu connections behind the radio or the connections on the gearbox yet though.

jamesmark
I had this fault code 89, last year and it has never ever done it since, happened about 3 times.
alan_blue
but are still tested in the same diagnostic port right?
jase_93tt
The error codes where displayed on a X-431 scan tool (http://www.elmas.com/), which basically plugs into the cars diagnostic port.

jase_93tt
The garage sorted out the error codes and flashy lights today. Turned out to be a slightly bent connector 'tooth' on the throttle control motor
