Gamer
Clean Soarer Should sell for that price. Two things that are not true in the description though. Rare metallic silver, Switchable gearbox to track day mode for an extra 30bhp, Metallic Silver is not rare on the Soarer. Trackday mode has nothing to do with the gearbox it has to do with the TEMS suspension units and it certainly does not give you an extra 30bhp. All it does is stiffen the suspension by dampening via a jumper mod. Good luck with the sale.

He said it remaps its self to give an extra 30bhp. and as for the rare silver. He said the majority are maroon and silver is quite rare. Like you say though it should sell. its really clean and bloody fast to. The fastest thing i've drove anyway.
blitz supra
He should have no probs selling as they are becoming "very "popular now in the Jap scene as people are realising they basically have Skyline performance for very little outlay, I have dabbled with idea of one of these, but they are so damn bland in standard form, but with some of the kits you can get from the USA and Japan they can look really good, and a leather refit and you have a really nice car, V8 is the one to avoid apparantley though as its slow.. 2.5TT isthe best of the bunch ,3.0NA very rare and Manuals are quite a find too My mate the importer always describes them as fast as f**k but with Rolls royce comfort, They were silly money new I remeber a mates dad looking at a new one back in 95/96 and they were very rare then from memory it was something silly like £40k, What puts most off though is stories of horrendous dashboard repairs, nowdays thats a £60 fix if you know the right people One hell of a car for the money!!! Hobgoblin
Very bland, but performance for pennies, I own a 2.5 TT one, and its mad in a straight line, but horrible, ponderous handling. But as a way of raising a few grand I sold the Supra and bought the Soarer.

Very odd the way cars are grouped an FTO is a grp 20 and when i bought my Supra i got a £150.00 reduction in insurance permium .. work that out.. Never driven one but thought they had some sort of Suspension stiffening thingy on them , Trouble is once you start messing with the Suspension the ride quality suffers and in a car like that, not really the thing to do i suppose. Cracking cars though and for really low money particularly in the last 2 years strangley .. dropped like a stone in values
Hobgoblin
Not sure what group insurance it is, but it was about £40 more than the Supe on renewal.
Hobgoblin
There is a suspension stiffening thingy called TEMS, I guess its Toyota Electronically Managed Suspension, but on mine it doesnt seem to make any difference if its on normal or stiff. Not good if you cant get stiffer when required.

Not good if you cant get stiffer when required. You need to put a jumper (Piece of wire) in the two of ports of the diagnostic thing in the engine bay. I can get the pin numbers if you like The "trackday" setting (according to the manual) is for placing the TEMS into diagnostics mode and sets the rebound rate to 0 (hence the harder suspension feeling) Edit: The pins I think are TS and E1
