Well I've fought off the temptation to get my new headlights and sidelights and now i'm going the sensible route.

Just booked her in for a cambelt, crankshaft pulley, coolant and power steering flush.

All the boring things you can't see but important I guess.:(

nice one! i just took the sensible option too and the difference is amazing you wont regret it! get the oil & filter changed while your at it

 

Cool sounds good, I like changing the oil myself so it's got a couple thousand miles to go yet.

Not sure how much yet but i'm guessing £200 for the pulley, £100 for the belt and tensioner and a good few hours labour so possibly around the £500 mark probably more. I better ring him as I forgot to mention the fan belt too. Doh.:)
