supRo Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I have aquired a stock TT air box. Sadly one of the plastic hinges on the lid is not there so won't be air tight around that area! Options to fix: 1, drill a small hole on the casing (there is enough plastic to not drill right into airbox) and use a cable tie 2, Wilkos do assorted semi circular metal clips - one of them may stretch over the two parts and hold it tight 3, wrap tape around the whole air box! 4, other - please suggest! Homer Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I can sell you a mint condition full airbox for a non too small sum TBH, If its the clip on the main unit that have gone then drill a screw in there, it'll be air tight and won't look untidy.
