Broken hinge on stock air box lid

I have aquired a stock TT air box. Sadly one of the plastic hinges on the lid is not there so won't be air tight around that area!

Options to fix:

1, drill a small hole on the casing (there is enough plastic to not drill right into airbox) and use a cable tie

2, Wilkos do assorted semi circular metal clips - one of them may stretch over the two parts and hold it tight

3, wrap tape around the whole air box!

4, other - please suggest!

Thank you,:)

I was going to say that I can supply new lids if needed, but as this is Tech section I'm not allowed, so I won't

:taped: :dontfeedmods: :)

If the thread poster said "And does anyone sell new ones?" then you could swoop in like a vulture, but as they asked for fixing options you can't so there :p
