Millsy
Top effort - you'll probably get people coming round your 'bodyshop' for resprays now. Could be a little earner.

rik
Ha ha, can't imagine there'll be any takers. Lets face it, the conditions are far from ideal, and to say i'm "winging" it it a bit of an understatement. Which is fine if it's your own car Every thing is a compromise, right down to the "El Cheapo" spray gun i'm using. But it's not what you've got, it's how you apply it. I've painted most things in my time from lorry trailers to show winning custom Harleys. All things considered, i'm happy so far

rik
How's this going Rik? A bit slow actually, cheers for asking. Didn't do much to it over xmas, and have only managed to find a few hours since really. I've just spent the last two weekends carpeting the house I'm going to get the ball rolling again this weekend though. The only parts left to paint are the doors, and then it's just got to be put back together, serviced and mot'd

Therefore......Painting DONE Still got lots to do like door handles and mirrors to go on, arch liners, and put all the door back together etc. Anyway, i got the bumper on this afternoon, and couldn't resist taking a few snaps............. Homer
Are you still going to use those orange blob indicators? I've got a pair of used clear side repeaters if you want them (they'll need some orage/chrome bulbs, but those or only a couple of quid). rik
Nah, i've filled the mounting holes in the bumper. I'm going to try get them into the fogs. I've got some clear side repeaters, but they're a bit manky. What are the ones you have like Darryl?

RobSheffield
Nice one Rik What was the total outlay on the paint job? When i did mine it was about £450 (11 litres paint, air fed mask, lots of 1500 wet n dry n Farecla cutting compound)
